Symptoms
When the Content Studio installation program attempts to make an upgrade of a site database the installation halts with an error stating that the database is READ-ONLY. After this the installation program terminates.
Cause
One of the Content Studio databases are marked as READ-ONLY and cannot be changed in any way. After that the database was found the installation can not continue.
Resolution
Make the database READ-WRITE and run the installation program again. If you for some reason would like to protect this particular database form beeing upgraded you must detach the database and attach it back after the upgrade process. For information on how to detach and attach database see SQL Server books online.
Status
This is a shortcoming of the Content Studio 3.2 installation program. This has been fixed in later versions or the installation program.
